Winterista is a multi-day winter festival with daytime experiences and select themed evening events.
We are open on specific dates from 12 PM to 12 AM, with different programming depending on the day. Some nights include special ticketed events.
From January 23 to February 14, Winterista turns Motorista Studio into a shimmering winter world — featuring massive ice sculptures, live carving, a giant ice slide, a radiant ice throne, a fully immersive projection-mapping room, warm lounge nights, and our illuminated Ice Bar. The festival also hosts signature adult events such as the Après Ski Coat Party and the Fire & Ice Valentine’s finale.
Hosted in a 4,000-square-foot creative venue at 25-45 Commercial Road, Winterista is Toronto’s new tradition where art, community, and the magic of winter meet.

Watch professional ice artists transform frozen blocks into breathtaking sculptures right before your eyes. These live shows run throughout the festival, revealing the craft, tools, and artistry behind every icy masterpiece.

Step inside a fully immersive projection-mapping environment where ice walls glow, shift, and come to life with color, movement, and light. A surreal visual experience designed for photos, videos, and pure sensory immersion.
